Tornado. An EF5 tornado tearing across the plains at sunset, flinging debris into the sky. The funnel reaches all the way up into the clouds and leans as it moves. Tornadoes come in EF1 to EF5, plus a firenado and a debris-heavy one. /disaster tornado ef5

Volcano. A volcano erupting at dusk. The cone builds up, then an ash column climbs into the sky and lava pours down the slopes. Choose plinian, strombolian or shield. /disaster volcano plinian

Meteor. A molten rock about 60 blocks across, coming down through the evening sky. Smaller meteors come in magma, iron, ice and ender, and some blow up in the air before they land. /disaster meteor extinction

Wildfire. A wildfire racing through a snowy taiga as night falls, with ash drifting overhead. Pick brush, crown or inferno. /disaster wildfire inferno

Tsunami. A mega tsunami rolling ashore at sunset. Tsunamis arrive as a set of 2 to 4 waves that flood inland, then drain back and leave puddles behind. /disaster tsunami mega

What's new in 1.0.0

Tornadoes

• The funnel is solid now and goes all the way up to the clouds. Looks a lot better with shaders.
• The top stays up in the clouds while the bottom moves, so the funnel leans and stretches instead of sliding around in one piece.
• They move in a steady line instead of zigzagging, and hook left as they die out, like real ones do.
• No more climbing over trees. They go straight through them, and through houses.
• Over water they turn into waterspouts and suck up the surface. The water levels back out once they've passed.
• A lot less fog and smoke around them.

Earthquakes

• In the strong ones the cracks keep tearing open into real ravines, up to about 20 blocks wide and 40 deep.
• Cracks open up on lake and sea floors too.
• No more lava in the cracks.

Meteors and shockwaves

• Craters sit properly in whatever they hit, layered with the rock and dirt that was there.
• Hot impacts melt the snow and ice around them.
• The shockwave gets you even behind a hill or up a mountain. Being indoors only weakens it.
• When two shockwaves meet they merge into one, and it hits harder where they meet.
• Blocks that are only hanging on by one side get blown off.
• Fixed the flashbang hiding ice, water and mobs for a few seconds, and the ringing sound stuttering.

Other

• /disaster amplify now also makes disasters bigger: craters, shockwaves, tornadoes, ravines, waves and volcanoes, up to 4x.
• Disasters don't start other disasters anymore. No firenadoes out of wildfires, no tornadoes out of hurricanes or supercells, no tsunamis out of earthquakes.
• No more "Spawned ..." message in chat.
• No more weird snowy grass blocks left lying around.
• Meteors and other disaster stuff show up from much further away instead of popping in.
• Big performance fixes: no more lag spikes when a disaster reaches chunks that are still loading, a cap on falling blocks, and undo never stalls.
